David’s Community Bible Church is beginning a new outreach ministry whose mission it will be to practically help those in need. David’s Service Teams will be open to all attenders at David’s and will consist of teams of 4 to 6 people who meet one Saturday a month for 3 to 4 hours to meet needs in our church and community. This is not charity care. It is fulfilling the scriptural mandate that we “…serve one another in love” (Gal 5:13). Our focus will first be those in our church that may need a little help. We will start with our widows, widowers, orphans, single moms, elderly and those with physical limitations. Our teams will do basic home maintenance and repairs (see list below). Hopefully over time this ministry will naturally branch out to others not in our church. Each month we will assign our teams tasks that can be accomplished in the time frame.
